I created this log book so it's easy for you to document this information but also so it can allow you to see in one glance if you baby is getting enough.

What each page should show you is the following, in a 24 hr period:

  • A minimum of 8 feeds in a 24 hour period

  • 1 wet nappy day 1, 2 day 2, going up by 1 each day until day 6

  • Minimum of 6 wet nappies from day 6 onwards

  • Stools changing colour and yellow from day 6 onwards

  • Black stools day 0-3

  • Dark green day 3-5

  • Yellow stools day 5-6 onwards- at least 1 bowel movement a day (can be more and that's also good!)
